Tested using rpcs3-v0.0.1-2017-03-03-48b05838_win64 on an i7 4770K @ 3.5 GHz, GTX 1070, 16 GB DDR3 running Windows 10-64 with the following settings:

PPU decoder: Interpreter (fast)
SPU decoder: Recompiler (ASMJIT)
LLE libraries picked automatically by RPCS3
Graphics settings: OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX 12 @ 1280x720 w/ VSync, Frame limit set to Auto
Audio settings: XAudio2
Input/Output: XInput

The game shows quite different behavior on each graphics renderer:

Vulkan shows a black window running at 0.01 fps that crashes into a runtime error after a couple of seconds (see the attached log for more information).

OpenGL shows a black window hovering around 60 fps and doesn't go any further.

DirectX 12 shows a black window as well but after a while, it displays two very dark ingame messages (see screenshot #1 and #2). Pressing the start button, as prompted by the second message, does not do anything, so I'm stuck there for now.

The attached 7z contains separate log files for all three renderers, in case it helps.

The same bug with unresponsive controller input also happens in Resident Evil 4, Minecraft, and the Ratchet & Clank Collection.

I wonder what's causing it to happen?

Since the bug with broken controller inputs has been fixed, more progress can now be made.

The game needs to install itself to the HDD, which crashes RPCS3. The only fix is to manually copy all of the game data to dev_hdd0.

After pressing start, the game crashes because it needs... the web browser? Huh

I'm not making this up.

RPCS3 v0.0.2-6-8e64e9d Alpha
The game freezes after installing.
P.S. Moderators, please, rename the game to "Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty".

The game goes ingame and can be played to about halfway through. Collision sometimes doesn't work at all, in that case, reload the save.

RPCS3 v0.0.8-9451-7f07b79c Alpha

During the Intro the game crashed. After this i loaded the save game and got into the first level. The first time the characters did not have collision and fell through the world. Reloaded the save game and now i could play for a minute or so and then it crashed again.
Also some graphics artefacts are seen when you use youre gun.

Hello everyone ! Where are we now with this game ? the post is quite old now, are all the problems fixed ?
My configuration :
- RPCS3 v0.0.10-10412-7c3166a0 Alpha | HEAD | Firmware version: 4.86
- Ratchet &. clank : Quest for Booty BCES00301
- Intel® Core™ i7-8569U CPU @ 2.80GHz | 8 Threads | 15.85 GiB RAM | TSC: 2.808GHz | AVX+ | FMA3

I have tried almost all the custom configurations possible to lunch this game, but every time it crash at the first intro scene.
With Vulkan Ratchet is blue. The sound dont match with the image…

Please tell me if you think my CPU is too weak. Or maybe the game version is not the best ? is the problem coming from the RPCS ?
I just need to know if I can keep trying or if my cause is already lost with a poor configuration like mine.
Thanks Guys ! I can't wait to read you Smile
