I can manage to open the game with Opengl, but upon using Vulkan I get the errors-

F {PPU[0x1000005] Thread (HighGraphics) [0x00accce8]} MEM: Access violation reading location 0x0

---------------------------
Fatal error
---------------------------
Unhandled Win32 exception 0xC0000005.

Function address: 00000000006107d0 (base+0x6007d0).

Module base: 0000000000010000.
RPCS3 image base: 0000000000010000.

-------------------------
And upon using DX12

F {PPU[0x1000005] Thread (HighGraphics) [0x00accce8]} MEM: Access violation reading location 0x0

---------------------------
Fatal error

---------------------------
Unhandled Win32 exception 0xC0000005.

RPCS3 image base: 0000000000010000.

Using Build v.0.0.3-3-adf119e Alpha
Reinstalled Gpu Drivers/rpcs3 (Rx 480)
Played around with the
i5-3570k 3.4 Ghz

Is there anything I can do to run the game on Vulkan or DX12?

Is there any way to fix this?
Possibly bad/corrupt rip.

F {PPU[0x1000017] Thread (SLSession) [0x00a662f0]} class std::runtime_error thrown: Verification failed:
(in file C:\rpcs3\rpcs3\Loader\PSF.cpp:118)

Do I have any chance to restore the data? I have no big hopes but maybe worth to ask. Thanks Smile
A corrupt file is a corrupt file, sorry it can't be saved.

I found the solution, it was because I set the framerate to 30fps (I was playing Tales of Graces F), I set it to "auto" and now it boots fine Smile

I believe I'm playing the US version, but there seems to be repeating sound effects in the tutorial area. Does anyone know if this is a region-specific issue or due to a setting?

Game engine bug due to low frame rate. No, the fps counter in RPCS3 is lying in this game, internally the game does it's own frame duplication if it feels the need to.

I suggest showing file name extensions in explorer. The file PS3_DISC.SFB is PS3_DISC.SFB.txt in your case. Rename it to only PS3_DISC.SFB.

THAT did it! thanks!

Dont know why there was a TXT file.

thanks for the help!

It's not playable for me.

Get to the tutorial area where only the HUD is visible, nothing else.

If you get the chance to look at the log and maybe see what it is, id appreciate it.
