Hi everyone !
First of all, thanks you for all your amazing work with RPCS3, and all the documentation, tutorials, and this community !
I come here to hope get some help... I'm trying to play the first inFamous game (I got lots of souvenir with it..). But i get some issues.
I've spent a lot of time reading forums, about optimisation, performances, stability, etc, with the emulator... but still struggle with it...
So, anytime I tried to play the game, it's running fine (with some fps drop and audio stuttering, but I've read it's "unavoidable" with this game)..
Then, without a warning, after a few minutes, it suddenly crash. But when it crash, it crash the entire PC. I end with a black screen, and i'm forced to just restart the entire PC...
So.. I'm some kind of lost at this point... I joint you the log file with this post, with the custom config file too, hope this help !
I've read the documentation (Quickstart, and recommenced configuration), tried many tweaking with the settings... But always endup in the same situation..
I'm wondering where the problem can came from. Maybe my hardware is just to old ?
Here is the current config I'm using :
- SYS: RPCS3 v0.0.34-17437-cec1004d Alpha | master
- SYS: Intel® Core™ i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz | 8 Threads | 15.96 GiB RAM | TSC: 4.008GHz | AVX+ | FMA3 | TSX-FA disabled by default
- SYS: Operating system: Windows, Major: 10, Minor: 0, Build: 19045, Service Pack: none, Compatibility mode: 0
- SYS: Current Time: 2025-02-05T15:43:04
- RSX: Found Vulkan-compatible GPU: 'NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080' running on driver 572.16.0.0
- SYS: LLVM version: 18.1.8
- SYS: Firmware version: 4.91
Btw, for the audio part, i'm using a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20, with lastest drivers update. I don't know if it's relevant.
