Hi All,
I discover RPCS3 recently. Honestly I'm shocked about how great this is. I'm hoping I'll be able to put my PS3 into the loft focus all my gaming on a central machine.
I have an initial question: I have RPCS3 installed on two devices:
Primary gaming machine: Win 11, i9 14900, 3090 GPU
Macbook pro M3 Max
My shock by - RPCS3 is amazing on the mac, it hardly ever crashes even after hrs of gaming. I actually run at 200x resolution and my PS3 games look almost as good as my PS5!
less good: RPCS3 on my gaming machine is very unstable - particularly with Diablo III, my all time favourite 2 player game. I usually get ~ 30 mins in before it freezes.
I have a PopOS (debian) env also on the gaming machine - should I focus on that or am I being unlucky with the current windows builds?
