When starting rpcs3, it always opens on the wrong monitor - it's not even a monitor, it's an AV receiver, but windows "thinks" it's a monitor, so naturally it's impossible to use rpcs3 when that happens. Moving the window to my primary monitor distorts the window and text size, and starting a game will continue to make it open on the wrong monitor. If moving the game window to the primary monitor, the window will not be the same resolution, nor will it "full screen" itself to the proper size.
Things I've noticed while trying to fix or troubleshoot:
I've tried multiple multi-monitor solutions (TVGameLauncher, UltraMon, etc), and none of them are able to force it to open on the primary monitor.
If I switch the primary monitor to the AV Receiver and start it, it will open on on my true actual monitor. This confirms the case that regardless of which is set as the primary, for some reason it WON'T open on it, it'll open on the secondary.
If I disable the secondary monitor (receiver actually), it opens and runs fine.
I downloaded an older version of rpcs3.net, the one that's compatible with older version of windows, and it works and opens just fine on the primary monitor. If I "update" it to the latest version though, the new version will have the exact same problems and opens up on the wrong monitor.
Having discovered this, thankfully I can just use an old version for now. However thought maybe this should be reported, as it may be some kind of bug that for some strange reason only I am experiencing, or maybe someone can offer a solution to help me get the latest version running properly on my primary monitor.
Thanks.
