EDIT: issue was solved by UPDATING WINDOWS
So last night I decided to play some Skate 3 and it would get past the PPU/SPU compiling screen.
Game was working perfectly fine, but it decides to hang on the screen below, I haven't touched anything since its working state to cause this.
OR
Note:
I'm having to post this because I haven't found a fix anywhere nor have I found anyone else with this problem.
What I've tried so far:
- Older builds of rpcs3
- Older firmware builds
- US version of the game
- Clearing all caches and entire gamedata + savedata
- Updating GPU drivers
- All possible library overrides
- Every recompiler/interpreter setup
- Disabling SPU cache, changing renderers, changing audio out, debug console mode, disabling PPU precompilation.
- Enabling color buffers (my working state wasn't using this option)
- Using default global config
- Complete brand new emulator setup in a fresh directory, on multiple drives
- Setting Virtual memory to 40-50gb
- Clearing up more HDD/SSD space on the drives
- Playing other games (other games work except Skate 3)
The common error is this:
(The access violation always pops up)
SPECS:
Windows 10
AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
32 GB RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

If anyone else has this problem, the fix is to UPDATE YOUR WINDOWS
