In RPCS3 blog section has the message
"While it does help mitigate crashes and will significantly improve stability, the current performance with accurate RSX reservations enabled is subpar, since it coarsely emulates what TSX is doing, but via software instead"
In same message section below has screenshots comparing performance between TSX on, TSX OFF with old and new reservations enabled. the results are that new reservations has better performance.

the message in the blog and the screenshots about accurate rsx reservations are about same detail ?
Thanks for reply.
Of course, otherwise it wouldn't be a setting, it would just be default behavior
old reservartions was standard configuration and when new reservations was added the option to enable and disable RSX reservations or both old and new reservations was created after the option RSX reservations was created ?
Only to understand if that option has fixed some games here.
Expanding on this a bit - If you are shooting for best possible stability despite performance, I was curious if you should always have Accurate RSX Reservation enabled if you have a processor that doesn't support TSX instructions?  Or should I try to find out which specific games actually use it (which may not be easy to find? don't know) and only enable it if they do?
Oh yes is good has always enabled and only disabled for games running slow.
Possibly for "old" CPUs not will have and better or worse performance enabling or disabling for some high demand games.
