Hi RPCS3 Team,

I'm part of a team who are seeing if it's possible to revive the Open Beta of Battlefield 3 on PS3 for research purposes, we've already successfully revived the BF3 PC Alpha and Open Beta. Unfortunately only one of has a PS3 and he isn't a developer. If it could be possible to get this running on the RPCS3, it would greatly help our efforts as the developers can test things on their own machines.

Here what we have tried:
  • Logs provided were Tested on a machine with Intel HD 630 graphics (Issue also occurs on Nvidia GPU's as well)
  • Have tried on Both Vulkan + OpenGL API's
  • Have tried with interpreter (both fast + precise modes)
  • Have tried with Write color buffers, Strict rendering mode and disabled vertex cache.
  • I have attached an image of the issue (It hangs as soon as the game loads a few frames).
Many thanks

Looks like the attachments in the main post didn't upload so I'll post them here using MEGA links, Also I have added additional information:

- The emulator seems to run into errors trying to load any of the static images such as boot logos and initial spash screen.

- The driver used with the Intel HD 630 machine was the latest stable release v100.8935

- Was tested on Windows 10 x64

- One of our developers using an RTX 2080 Super was able to get further into the menus in the attached video (it appears to have skipped all intro logo images and splash screen image and displayed the main menu ui. The Main Menu ui is an actual 3D map Level not a static image): https://streamable.com/zx5m27
He was using the following config settings to get this far: Shader Interpreter Only, PSN Status: Simulated & Driver Wake-Up Delay: 600us.

Here are the log links and images.
