Thought ill share how i fixed the connectivity issue between the wired ps3 controller and RPCS3 of itbhelps anyone.
Issue i had: controller was not recognised and would come up as disconnected.
I installed scptool kit. Installed drivers and still prpblem persisted.
To fix it all i had to do is:
1: goto device manager
2: open libusbk usb device.
3: right click usb gamepad and click update driver.
4: click browse my computer for driver software
5: don't browse, at the bottom click "Let me pick from a list........."
6: click usb input devices and update.
Controller works perfectley. Please make sure you controller is connected while doing this.
