Being new to PS3 emulation, I just wanted to ask whether game patches are necessary to run the games i.e. do they make the game run better on the emulator or do they simply enhance the game in another way.
I assume that the downloading new builds of RPCS3 is the main way to get the games to run better.
For instance, I am playing WRC FIA 4 world championship and note that there is a patch (1.01). Would this make the game run any better or does it just add options to the game.
