Since 2008, I have never used installed apps and certainly would never place portable apps anywhere on C:
I assume that's what you are referring to? I was however, referring to the install path on D: when I questioned path validity.
But this doesn't alter the way the save feature works on settings. I think it should be made easier to use and backup. Maybe in a future version
