Drivers updated, i reinstalled vcredistx64, deleted dev_flash then created again... but whaterver i do i get the same error message all the time.

After i load PS3UPDATE.PUP, i get this dialog box, then RPCS3 closes.

I tried with the latest version but i also tried with older versions, only to get the same result i always get. My computer complies with at least the minimum requirement. Any tips? Any information/log i can get to see what might be going wrong here? Thanks already

Ok so, i've noticed some new behaviour. So if i dont click Ok or close that window, these PPU modules keep compiling. But if i close it or click ok, the emulator stops responding and closes.
It still hasn't compiled all the modules, but it seems like it still can.

Attached rpcs3.log
Having this same issue. Log and TTY files attached. Latest build, newest drivers for all hardware. CPU below recommended spec but still an x64 capable processor so it should be within minimum spec.

It seems to me that the firmware install is actually completing successfully, but afterward RPCS3 immediately goes to the "compiling PPU modules" process where the error occurs.

After restarting the program, attempting to run a game image also goes to "compiling PPU modules" and throws the same error. Once this error wind comes up "Compiling PPU Modules" appears to proceed for a few seconds but then freezes as the entire program stops responding.
SSE2 path is not working currently, CPUs without SSSE3 will crash until it's fixed

Thanks for your help!

To anyone else experiencing this problem, the bug report is here: https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3/issues/4877

As I understand it the discussion I linked above will be marked "closed" once this issue is resolved in a future build. However, the best solution is probably "get a newer processor" since SSE2 processors lack the power/infrastructure to run RPCS3 properly. (If I'm understanding correctly. Obviously I'm new to this.)
Yeah, forget using RPCS3 properly with a CPU without at least SSSE3 and AVX.
Emulating a PS3 requires a fairly decent CPU, ones without those Instruction Sets are way too old.

The issue will be closed when the bug is fixed, yes.
