Hello,

So I am brand new to RPCS3 and I'm trying to play Demon Souls from an ISO.

I can start the game, create a character, see the intro. When I play however, the screen turns black. I restarted and when I did I got the screen to show (with a few glitches) up till the arch stone. When I touched it, the screen went black again. 

While it is black I can still see my souls, health bars, and equipped items, just not the screen.

Can anyone help?

Write Color Buffers must be on, check the wiki page for the game or just read the settings tooltips, Demon's Souls is specifically mentioned in Write Color Buffers.

Thanks for that. That fixed it and allowed me to play...mostly.

The problem I have now is that it freezes intermittently. Sometimes I play for 15-20 minutes, othertimes it crashes two seconds after I spawn. It almost always takes the whole RPCS3 down with it.

Same file as above. 

Any ideas?
