My wireless xbox one controller was working perfectly with the xinput, after turning rpcs3 off and coming back after 5 minutes
rpcs3 wouldn't accept any input from the controller, it works in xbox accessories but rpcs3 doesn't recognize it any more.

Are you using Xinput to simulate the keyboard? If you are, there's a simpler solution.

Configuration > Pads > Under Player 1, change "Keyboard" to "MMJoystick"

You can also change which buttons do what under "Profile".
