RPCS3 0.0.9-10287-833ace11 Alpha
Ingame
- Suffers of lighting issues in some roads (First one : High Speed Ring tends to balance from Sunny to Cloudy in the roads without knowing how.)
- BIG issues (at least in the French version) in terms of words being written, when you choose the color of your car to buy it or when showing the name of the road in big for example (tends to have a messy rendering, understanding absolutely nothing)
- Crashes after finishing a race when going back to the main menu (it does not crash when coming back from the Reseller section ?)
Log file : big one watch out :

EDIT : In latest release : RPCS3 0.0.9-10297-f4f0fb88 :
- Major FPS increases on menus and choices, going from 30 FPS to 60 FPS almost constantly. (around 59.8 to 60.5 FPS). Some parts (like races and Main Menu) are still around 30 FPS.
- Still some issues in showing the written parts (pictures are the same). However, this time, in the circuit choice, not all track names suffer from it :

RE-EDIT : RPCS3 0.0.9-10298-19acf260 Alpha
- FPS increases in-game (not stable but around 49/59 FPS - tested on High Speed Ring)
- Weird issues in the depth of the cars (I never knew cars could be seen outside of a tunnel, or even could drive on weird places in the road (can be seen when viewing back your performance) ! Sorry, no pics for this one.)
- Still crashes after finishing a race.
RPCS3 0.0.10-10312-a568c958 Alpha
- Great job at fixing the issues related to the cars" depth ! It now emulates perfectly !
- Still the little lighting issues, in some parts of the game (road cannot be clearly seen, from cloudy to sunny over time, road is weirdly seen)
- Tested audio since then, audio crackles ingame, and I completely lost the audio overtime (due to buffer issues in the re-diffusion of the race). I can put that to the fact that my CPU might be a little bit weak maybe.
- Shaders are always being compiled it seems, I suppose the weather conditions ingame and/or few things seems to affect a lot.
- Suffering from little weird things (bushes appears and disappears when camera moves)
- Still crashes after finishing a race : E {PPU[0x100001e] Thread (PDI:1000000:302c9750) [0x01482cd0]} SYS: 'sys_rsx_context_attribute' failed with 0x80010002 : CELL_EINVAL [2]. I might be thinking that my dump is faulty or something. I should retry when I can.
The crashes at the end of the race are not related to that error or caused by a faulty dump. It's similar to the desync issues other GT games suffer from, but it has a different effect on GT5 Prologue, instead of completely freezing the game in the middle of the race, the audio cuts out and it freezes in the next loading screen. If you manage to finish a race without the audio cutting out you'll notice that the game will go back to the menus just fine and you'll be able to start a new race, but sooner or later the audio will cut out and the game will freeze after finishing a race. Performance is pretty good on my i7-4770 and outside the freezes it's pretty much playable.
