I did not enable (Multithreaded RSX or Asynchronous texture streaming).
The reason for this was having those options enabled, it created the horrible checker mismatch graphix issue.
The Wiki says they help with performance, but they cause major graphical issues for me.
A New Year and a few more builds and I think we may have it here folks. This plays great, but the computer opponents seem a lot harder than I remember them to be.. Good Fun.

I took a few screen shots from the game play. If you notice there is a slight green hue to some objects. Possibly a setting I did that needs tweeking?
