The game doesn't even show its graphics window.

game boots and plays but sooooooo slow !!!
And that's why it's not in playable.
The game now boots with PPU & SPU LLVM Recompiler.  Performance has increased a lot and is close to being playable.  I say close because:

-Game crashes/ freezes half of the time.
-There are still graphical bugs like missing kits and corrupted textures.
-Performance during gameplay isn't solid 60 FPS. Framerate varies from 50~60 and cause random stutters. But it's still playable, but not perfect.


For fixing some of the missing graphics:

- You have to run the game with 300% resolution scale which minimizes the black checker pattern.
- Use Vulkan. Opengl increases the graphic bugs.
- Enable write color buffer to fix some of the broken lighting.


^ There are still black checker patterns present and lighting is still broken to some extent. But this improves the graphics a lot.

game finally boots with llvm thats why it plays so fluid and fast  only audio got issues  but  glad to see this football sim works perfectly on rpcs3

Audio stutter issue can be minimized by disabling "SPU loop detection"

Game will freeze after pressing start button sometimes. If that happens, start the game and pass the start menu with default configurations. And then reboot the game with custom configurations, then the game won't freeze after pressing start button again.  Don't know if it should be considered playable. But it's possible to finish a match.

Log files for both "Freeze at start" and "Playing two matches and freezing" are attached.

Rendering bug: Normal maps are inverted.

Normal maps are rendered inverted on RPCS3. So that's why cloth wrinkles look weird and during gameplay lighting is inverted on clothes. On a regular ps3 and xbox 360 hardware the normal maps are rendered correctly.

Edit: Latest version of RPCS3 "v0.0.6-8085 Alpha [2019-05-08] " degraded the performance. From near perfect 60 fps to stutter 48-55 fps.

Edit 2: Crash rate has increased now. Even a single match can't be finished since the game freezes within few minutes of booting. New log has been attached "FiFA 08 Crash.7z"
Game has been moved to "playable" but there was a regression and the game crashes. And even on latest master builds, the game crashes randomly.

This shouldn't have been labeled as Playable. It should be "Ingame"
So use old build to play it or do you mean it never worked on any build?

Yeah I'm using that one old build to play.

But what I meant to say is that on the current builds, Fifa 08 is listed as "playable" while its clearly not. So the compatibility list needs an update.
