RPCS3 v0.0.5-6597-70cc2e366 Alpha | HEAD
Intel® Core i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz | 12 Threads | 15.96 GiB RAM | AVX+ | TSX
I was previously unable to get past the first fight scene. Could be new specs, could be emulator. idk. 7-15 fps with highs of 20-25 if not in an open area. Log and screen shots attached. Hopefully it helps get this working better. Cheers!

There was a major softlock in the first fight of the game however I overcame it by using the precise interpreter for the PPU and SPU.
Once past that part I changed back to normal settings. Getting around 15-20fps in open areas with lots of NPCs. Interiors with only a few enemies gives stable 30fps.
Game will still softlock every hour or so and sometimes seemingly at random but I have completed the game in terms of the main story. Played at 4K with no noticeable performance or graphical issues seemingly affected by the upscale

Thanks a lot for finishing the game, when performance improves and it's more stable we can now move this to playable safely. Increasing resolution scaling only really puts the GPU to use, so it's very easy on any GPU that isn't too old. Basically any dedicated GPU with Vulkan support can do 4k without losing any fps.

Yakuza 4 works flawlessly on Ryzen 5 3600 & GTX 1050ti from start to finish. Same settings as Yakuza 3.

It also can be transfered to playable from in-game, if you play it with these settings.

Running Yakuza 4 flawlessly on i5-9600KF @4.7GHz with a RTX 3070 and 16GB of 3200MHz RAM at 4K 30FPS.
Only setting changed is Accurate GELLTAR to on. Not a single crash when before I couldn't go 10 minutes without one.
