[Update 4/25 build]
The game no longer need CPU Blit to render correct gfx.
The remaining issues are:
1) "Half screen" issue. Introduced on 3/10/18. See screenshot #1.
2) Maybe related to #1, going from gameplay to menus and back to gameplay causes the colors to get screwed up - starts perfect, then all the colors are wrong, then the whole screen turns into lines after doing this a few times. Strange. See screenshot #2.
3) Stability - game can crash sometimes with a PPU error randomly during gameplay. Example: F {PPU[0x100002a] Thread (RenderThread) [0x0057501c]} MEM: Access violation reading location 0x90040000
Aside from those (major) issues, everything else is perfect: Audio, gfx, performance, etc.

Game has distorted overlay until you get into the actual game-play.

Can you check if this is a regression between RPCS v0.0.21-13393 and v0.0.21-13399?
If so, that would suggest it's related to what's happening in Madden NFL 10, 11 and 12.

v0.0.21-13393
Game booted with no issues
0.0.21-13399
Game booted with issues, glitched
v0.0.26-14568
Game booted with issues, distorted texture overlay
I have NFL Blitz setup with RPCS3 v0.0.21-13393-3002e592 Alpha
I'll just boot the game there and play it. Just did a deeper test in a match booted fine and played fine with v0.0.21-13393.
I just went into settings and told the emulator to stop asking to update. So really problem solved for me.
