Just played though about an hour of Peace Walker.

CPU: Intel Core I5 12400H
GPU: Nvidia RTX3050TI Laptop
RPCS3 Version: 0.0.28-15215-073b723c Alpha | master
Arch Linux using appimage

Didn't see any slowdown, visual artefacts or indeed any other issue whatsoever. Game was a solid 60FPS at 720p using Vulkan, I didn't even have to tweak any emulator settings.

Game is playable.

I think that this game should go in playable now, I have just completed MGS3 on the HD collection with my i5 13600kf and 6950xt

I understand when Ani said that needing a 9900K would mean that it is not playable for a lot of people back in 2021
But now in 2023, a recent i5 is having comparable performances (a little better actually) than an old i9!

It needs to have Playable performance on the current recommended requirements, which are roughly R5 3600 and i7-8700
Played through the entirety of MGS3.

Game Version: 1.03.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7700, undervolted with PBO -20. Stayed at 5.35 Ghz the whole time.
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800
RPCS3 Versions: I updated while playing, so whatever were the latest builds from July 3 to July 7, 2023.
OS: Windows 10.

Config was defaults plus wiki settings plus:
* GPU: Resolution scale: 200% (2560x1440)
* GPU: Anisotropic filter: 16x
* GPU: Anti-aliasing: Disabled (I have no recollection of why I did this)
* GPU: Multithreaded RSX: On

Major issues:
* One crash after fighting Volgin in the hanger, had to refight him.
* The first time watching the cinematic/briefing after the prologue mission it was flashing red, fixed by a restart.

Minor issues:
* In the cutscene after the last boss, the back half of the plane doesn't render for the very first shot of it.
* There was a mid-sized gray triangle in the sky often.

Extremely rare FPS slowdowns:
* A few seconds to the low 50s during the motorcycle escape through the rainy forest.
* A few seconds from mid 40s to low 50s during the cutscenes before and after the final boss fight. No FPS drops during the fight.

Gameplay was solid the whole way through. The only issues I had were due to playing with an XBox controller and not a PS controller. Remapping the CQC button from circle to the L2 trigger made it possible to use all the CQC options, but it was awkward. Remapping the shoot button from square to the R2 trigger made it just like MGS2's control scheme.

This game is definitely playable

Processor AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 3.98 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
I have tested the entire collection including MG1 and MG2.
All games working 100% with slight spu slowdowns from shader loading (could be my hdd lol)
I do recommend this be recategorized as "Playable" due to my specs.

I run:
CPU: i5-9600k
GPU: MSI SUPRIM 3070 8GB
RPCS3 Ver.: 0.0.31-16375-90b6912d Alpha

I understand the CPU is the main bottleneck here and mine is very average.

PS: I looked in the compatibility section a few weeks ago and saw that this title was there and playable. I recently checked again and found that it was gone entirely.
Refused again until MGS3 performance is acceptable.
You're all reporting Playability with CPUs far above the recommended requirements.
