I know this isn't a top requested feature, not even needed at this poing of the emulator's life.
But it wouldn't require lot of work and should be easy to implement.
I've been doing widescreen hacks for many consoles (games) in the last months, And now I am looking at platforms like the Wii U and Ps3, thanks to emulators it is quiete easy to hack the ingame fov so the horizontal view expand to fit wider TV's, so in orther to make games future proof, I started hacking 21:9 aspect ratio to 16:9 games.
21:9 Tv's will become a standar at some point, and 21:9 TV moniots are actually quiete popular among PC gamer ( whom rpcs3 is aimed to )
So what I am requesting is an "streetch" option in the video configuration, so we dont have black bars when going fullscreen on a non 16:9 monitor.
Few examples.

We can go even further and make games display in 32:9, this kind of monitors are starting to spread right now.
