The game now gets past the title screen and the cutscene, therefore, showing this loading screen. Settings below.

Actually, Beatz was playing around the boot file of the game with variables until he could load into the level, and it crashes 2 seconds in anyways. Also, since he (and me too) knows sonic generations AND sonic unleashed modding, he disabled the rendering of the level geometry, and it could continue without crashing! But of course, without game executable modification, none of this is achievable currently.

The game gets further than the loading screen if you use interpreter, because apparently, the game has timing issues and runs too fast. Beatz also got ingame using recompiler, but he had to slow the emulator down with cheatengine so it wouldn't freeze. Graphics emulation is pretty good (what you see in the first linked video, is i had to remove objects and terrain for the level to load, lots of stages like freezing at the moment) kd-11 told us that he will be looking into unleashed this month or so.

What settings did you use? I used to be able to get ingame with ~20 FPS on the daytime stages but I'm now stuck on build 7658. With recompiler it freezes on the SEGA logo screen, and with fast interpreter it stays on the "Now Loading" screen forever (or at least 15 minutes). The loading screens are very slow also even before they get stuck, are you also having this issue?
