Hey can someone give me a hand please? i'm trying to play "Catherine" [BLUS30428] but for some reason i can't run it on SPU recomplier(asmjit) It gets stuck on BLACK screen
I can play it on interpreter fast or precise but fps is really bad around 10~ I am using the both latest firmware and rpcs3 [2017-03-30] build
It always gets stuck at ; SPU: Function detected [0x1e1b8-0x1e1fc] (size=0x44)
MY PC spec ;
GPU:geforce 960m
CPU:INTEL i7-6700hq
RAM : 8 gb
I attached the logs

Are you using DX12 or Vulkan? For me I can also only run it on interpreter, but when using DX12 I have no frame problems. Vulkan is known to cut frames in half for Catherine at the moment.

Dx12 ofc
ASMJIT seems broken for some people. You can just try a different build, like something from a few days ago for example. It can randomly get unstuck because we are dealing with sync issues most likely.

Any fix for this yet?
Nope, use PPU Recompiler + SPU Interpreter (fast) for now

The build you linked doesn't touch a line of SPU code. It's random.
