How did you get it to load in? I'm still stuck on the install screen.
Yeah you gotta share cause even using the most updated version of RPCS3 I still can't get the game to work at all, not even a title screen
I deleted the video files and mashed X through boot, it doesn't render anything and crashes with VKTextureCache/GLTextureCache errors, if not freezing like you've all seen. Doubt I can just upload INSTALL_COMPLETE.DAT

I subscribed to this thread finally btw, sorry for ignoring y'all

Not an official build
Try renaming/deleting and backing up your videos folder to skip the intros before it installs, that should give it time to install before stalling out.

You misunderstand me.  If you look at the pic I posted, installation completes but asks that the game be reset through the PS button menu (which isn't possible).  So how did you bypass that?
I actually got by the installation by updating the game to version 1.01, still crashing before I can get some actual gameplay though umfortunately.

Didn't bypass it at all, it just installed normally. It creates a INSTALL_COMPLETE.DAT file but someone has said earlier that it's not as simple as dropping that inside the dev_hdd0 folder to make it boot. I don't know if I can share this file either so if a mod or something could get confirmation on that it'd be cool. It's a 24 Byte binary file.

We can always try troubleshooting together in the discord server or in discord dms.

So yeah consistent method of running the game is install version 1.01, boot the game, try to install (you won't finish from the comments I'm seeing) then you want to close the game. Open your dumped folder, copy resimg1.dat and drop INSTALL_COMPLETE.DAT from your ps3's installation of it into your dev_hdd0 USRDIR folder. The game should be able to load up just fine. Can also copy resimg1.dat from your dump to dev_hdd0.

Updating the game wasn't even on my radar!  But that finally made the installation stick.
