but with opengl the graphics are all messed up

Sometimes you need to boot the game twice to get it to run but other than that it's perfectly playable.

I just tested it on latest build and the game get stuck on black screen again. i dont know when the game stop works, but i test on version 8638 and there was still stuck on black screen on both vulkan and opengl with default configuration.

Edit:I manage to find out the latest build where the game still work, it was 8576. on this one the game works well.
