stuck on the loading screen
RPCS3 v0.0.3-3-c85806c Alpha

Game freezes right before SEGA logo, but after the warning of the demo being a WIP product. Sometimes you can be lucky enough to be half way through SEGA logo before freezing, or be unlucky enough that it freezes during the warning message.

Setting the SPU Decoder to "Interpreter (fast)" lets you get in-game. It's not pretty, though, and definitely not playable.

I tested under both Vulkan and OpenGL backends, but there was no difference between the two. Graphical bugs aside, it's also very slow (probably on account of the SPU interpreter) and prone to crashing randomly.

On a side note, the thread title should probably be renamed to "Sonic Generations Game Demo [NPEB90343]", to reflect the actual internal name of the demo and to differentiate it a little from the other, pre-release demo.

I think Write Color Buffers fixes black graphics in this game. Try it.

No change, unfortunately.
