Something to try, when you get an access violation you can still press resume in the debugger panel and the game will continue. It is very likely that it won't work, but I have seen it make some games go a tiny little bit further sometimes (Like God of War 3 that displays the rest of the intro logos before finally crashing once and for all)

I believe the game has jumped to the playable state, but I need my new dualshock to try to finish the game. The fps flows between 15 and 30 on my old i7 2600k. I had no crash or graphic problems except those that appear in the pictures.
