Full Version: Does the resolution impact performance?

Does setting a lower or higher resolution boosts/reduces fps? I tried with 720x480 res and 1280x720 res but didn't see a fps boost/impact... actually, it looked like i gained 2 fps with 720p over 480p

FAIK it always renders at native res and then scales. At elast with some renders. So resolution isn't bottleneck.
