I get this (or similar message, im not 100% sure) after every game i try to run

It's basically useless without a stack trace.
Do you have vk drivers correctly installed? Check vkinfo or vulkinfo, not sure what it's called as I'm I'm not home.

i have them correctly installed, the vulkan samples on the nvidia page work for me

Could you provide full specifications of the computer and tell us the driver version?

8gb ram
is this error normal?
