i'm sorry for not specifying, but I actually meant where to install the games files, not adding into the emulator, sorry!
Good evening everyone. I hereby inform you that the Eternal Sonata BLES version no longer works from Chapter 4, after being in Baroque City. The game starts to cause a series of crashes in Vullkan mode, and when it arrives on the mission inside the Volcano, it also causes OpenGL crashes as soon as we finish any battle, preventing follow-up.

I agree, I constantly crash inside the mirror on Chapter 4 in Vulkan no matter the version. Would be great if I could get around this issue.
i wish they would remove playable, sense the game is very not playable
Okay okay back to ingame.
why is this still in the playable section. it will never get fixed at this rate. Dx
this game always dead once in a while. I can't even pass the Sewerage.
This game is now playable on my system (it is a little beefy) with the following settings (there are still some graphical issues like 15% of the right side of the screen missing)....but it works!

It is important to note that I deleted the cache file before I started because I downloaded the newest version (as of the time of this writing: 0.0.6-8329-ad10eb39 Alpha released 07/03/2019)

GPU

My System:
Intel i5 8600k (overclocked to 4.5 GHz) - Coffee Lake (so I didnt need to force the TSX instructions)
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16 GB RAM DDR4
GeForce GTX 1080 Stock
SAMSUNG 970 EVO M.2 2280 500GB PCIe Gen3. X4 SSD
ASRock Z370 Taichi Z370 Mobo

Anyone else able to play with these settings?
while it technically works, besides cut scenes being laughably out of sync, the FPS isn't even remotely close to what i would call playable with precise PPU, especially not for a action game. ( i don't think 10 or less FPS is enjoyable in any game and other games with such low fps are listed as not playable). my setup is almost identical to yours, except a different (i-7) cpu (4.4GHZ), but i can't enable / support TSX. I suspect getting it playable based on topics comments is bascially just "if you support TSX, yay, if not, your shit outta luck kid" (altho as i don't have TSX, i can't say for sure...)

the question is why LLVM crashes to begin with, (not work badly, but crash) and devs would only look into fixing it if this isn't in the playable section, otherwise they will ignore it.

as my comment last page said, Heres a save file to test https://www.mediafire.com/file/ud1273wb2...2.zip/file

From loading the save file, go up across the small bridge, then left into the house. then just exit the house. if it doesn't crash, just walk back in and walk out a few times, or speak to the pair of kids NPC and then leave. This is the only guaranteed repeatable crash i can find, sense most of them altho common, are mostly at random.
Yes this game shouldn't even be near playable status the performance is absolutely abysmal unless you run a top of the line cpu and it crashes constantly i really fail to see how this actually belongs here, it's one of my favorites so i'm trying it at least every few weeks but so far there is absolutely no improvement so pls move this to ingame again.
